Task
People look for a remodeling company with a service and a place in the same query. One page cannot answer for three services across nine cities, and a single service-area list ranks for none of them. The combinations had to exist as real pages.
What we did
- Built a page for each of nine cities across Wake, Durham and Orange Counties, with a North Carolina page above them: 41 location URLs in all.
- Built a hub for each of bathroom, kitchen and flooring, with twelve, seven and seven subservice pages.
- Added a FAQPage block to every service page, with the answers in the served HTML, not only in the markup.
- Described the business to search engines as a LocalBusiness.
- Connected the site to IndexNow, so publishing, updating or deleting a page submits it to Bing directly.
Result
The site now publishes 86 URLs. A search that names a service and a city meets a page written for that combination, not a list to scroll.
